THE PILGRIMAGE TO MAKKAH ISAIAH 35:1-10
Isaiah 35
1 The waste land and the dry places will be glad; the lowland will have joy and be full of flowers.
INTERPRETATION
(a)the first meaning of the verse which says : the waste and dry places will be glad represent Arabia who has not had a prophet in her ,Israel had been given more prophets, thousands of them but Arabia has no prophet and therefore the people over there were pagans worshiping idols. The country was in sorrow , it has not tasted the prophet-hood and therefore God is given her hope that she will rejoice because her time has come to enjoy as God Almighty is sending to her a prophet who will make her fruitful before God Almighty.
. 2 It will be flowering like the rose; it will be full of delight and songs; the glory of Lebanon will be given to it; the pride of Carmel and Sharon: they will see the glory of the Lord, the power of our God.
(b) THIS PART OF THE PROPHECY IS TALKING TO US ABOUT HOW PEOPLE WILL GATHER IN ARABIA IN FULL OF BEAUTY, FULL OF DELIGHT, SONGS HERE: REPRESENT THE PRAISES MUSLIMS DO DURING HAJJ.(LABAIK ALAAHUMMA LABAIKA) THIS IS NOT JUST A SONG BUT IT’S A BEAUTIFUL POEM THAT PRAISES GOD ALMIGHTY AND THOSE WHO SING THIS PRAISES ARE THE PILGRIMS, THE GLORY OF LEBANON WILL BE GIVEN TO HER MEANS THE WHOLE OF ARABIA WILL COME UNDER MAKKAH .AND THERE WILL BE MORE RICHES THERE WHERE THE MESSIAH TO COME WILL MAKE USE OF CAMELS.
3 Make strong the feeble hands, give support to the shaking knees.
MAKE STRONG FOR THE FEEBLE HANDS MEANS THOSE ARABS WHO WERE SEEN AS OUT CAST AND WERE OF NO USE , WILL ACTUALLY DOMINATE THE ENTIRE WORLD .THE POOR ARABS WILL THEN BECOME THE RICH AND AFTER GOD HAS GIVEN ALL THIS TO THEM, THERE WILL BE ABUNDANCE OF CHARITY BETWEEN THEM AND THE POOR AND NEEDY WILL BE SUPPORTED.
4 Say to those who are full of fear, Be strong and take heart: see, your God will give punishment; the reward of God will come; he himself will come to be your saviour
(c) GOD FURTHER ASSURES THE PEOPLE OF ARABIA THAT HE IS GOING TO SEND THEM A MESSIAH IN A WHILE WHO WILL SAVE THEM FROM ALL HUMILIATIONS AND PUNISH THE WRONG AND REWARD THE RIGHT .
5 Then the eyes of the blind will see, and the ears which are stopped will be open.
(d) THE BLIND HERE DOES NOT NECESSARILY MEAN BLIND BUT ITS REFERRING TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GOD, PAGANS WILL SEE THE LIGHT OF GOD AND THAT IS THE BLIND REGAINING HIS SIGHT. THOSE PAGANS WHO HAVE NEVER HEAD THE WORD OF GOD BEFORE WILL HEAR IT AND NOT JUST HEARING BUT THEY WILL SUBMIT TO THE TRUTH. YOU AGREE WITH ME THAT THE JEWS ALREADY HAD THE KNOWLEDGE ABOUT GOD BEFORE THE ARABS. THEREFORE THIS IS ACTUALLY REFERRING TO ARABS NOT JEWS.
6 Then will the feeble-footed be jumping like a roe, and the voice which was stopped will be loud in song: for in the waste land streams will be bursting out, and waters in the dry places.
(e) HOW RICH IN FAITH THIS PEOPLE WILL BE , HOW THEY WILL WORSHIP GOD DAY AND NIGHT IN PRAISES . IN THE WASTE LANDS MEANS THE LAND THAT DIDN'T WORSHIP GOD WILL BE SERVING GOD DAY IN AND OUT, WHERE AS THE WATERS FLOWING FROM DRY PLACES SIGNIFIES THE MERCIES AND BLESSINGS OF GOD. UNLIKE THE JEWS WHO GOD CHOSE BUT WERE UNGRATEFUL TO GOD. BUT THIS NEW CHOSEN NATION WILL SERVE GOD ETERNALLY
7 And the burning sand will become a pool, and the dry earth springs of waters: the fields where the sheep take their food will become wet land, and water-plants will take the place of grass.
(f) GOD KEEPS TELLING US OF HOW GREAT HE WILL CHANGE THE NATION FROM EVIL TO GOOD AND HOW HE IS GOING TO BLESS THEM.
8 And a highway will be there; its name will be, The Holy Way; the unclean and the sinner may not go over it, and those who go on it will not be turned out of the way by the foolish.
(g) THIS REFERS TO THE HOLY WAY TO MAKKAH, THIS CAN NOT BE ISRAEL OR JERUSALEM BECAUSE PEOPLE WERE BACK THEN GOING TO JERUSALEM ALREADY TO WORSHIP EVEN BEFORE ISAIAH WAS BORN , BUT PROPHET ISAIAH IS TELLING US OF A NEW NATION AND NEW PILGRIMAGE .WHOEVER TRAVELS THERE WILL BE RIGHTEOUS, THE UNCLEAN AND SINNER MAY NOT GO THERE MEANS THE DISBELIEVERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO THERE FOR THE JOURNEY TO MAKKAH IS SPIRITUAL AND HOLY. AND WHOEVER GOES TO MAKKAH WILL NOT BE MISLED BY THE LIES OF THE JEWS AND CHRISTIANS. IN FACT 15MILLIONS MUSLIMS EMBARKS ON THIS SPIRITUAL JOURNEY EVERY YEAR.
9 No lion will be there, or any cruel beast; they will not be seen there; but those for whom the Lord has given a price,
(h) LION AND CRUEL BEAST REPRESENTS EVIL PEOPLE. THEREFORE, NO EVIL WILL GO THERE EXCEPT MUSLIMS ALONE .
10 Even those whom he has made free, will come back again; they will come with songs to Zion; on their heads will be eternal joy; delight and joy will be theirs, and sorrow and sounds of grief will be gone for ever.
(I) THOSE WHO GOES TO THE PILGRIMAGE WILL BE FREE FROM SINS AND THEY WILL WISH TO GO OVER AND OVER AGAIN. AND THE PILGRIMS WILL BE FILLED WITH JOY AND HAPPINESS.
THE PILGRIMAGE TO MAKKAH IS ACTUALLY A BLESSING TO HUMANITY WHICH IS FORETOLD IN THE BIBLE BY ISAIAH.
